Simply make royal icing with this mix from FunCakes. You only have to add water to this mix to prepare the icing. This icing hardens completely and is suitable for covering your cake, piping decorations and decorating and glazing cookies.
Preparation: Add 55 ml of water per 450 g of sifted mix for Royal Icing with a stiff consistency. Mix the icing for approx. 7-10 minutes on low speed to a stiff, white icing. The icing is ready when it is bright white, has lost its shine and you can pull peaks that don’t fall back. If using a hand-held mixer be careful that it does not jam!
Tip: Add 1 teaspoon of water per 200 g of icing for medium consistency, or 2 teaspoons of water for thin consistency.
