Slide mould for baking cakes of different sizes and shapes. You only need one mould and you can bake multi-tier cakes.
The round mould is the basis for a variety of festive cakes for many occasions. There is a plethora of decorating options. You can decorate the cake with creams, fruits and gelatine, chocolate, stretchers, you can sit other baked shapes on top of the cake, which you cover with stretchers and decorate. Once the coated tiers are assembled, you will have an elegant wedding cake on which to place flowers, ribbons, bows, beads and other decorations. You can decorate each tier with fondant molded into the textured backing. When assembling multi-tiered cakes, support the cake tiers with plastic or bamboo support sticks, which you will clasp into the pads on which the supported tier will be placed. The sliding rim allows you to adjust to your desired size.
Instead of using several molds to assemble a multi-tier cake, use one mold on which to measure out the tier. The rim is suitable for easily creating cakes, and once filled with a layer of cream and set, you can easily slide the rim out to achieve smooth cake edges. Grease the rim with butter, dust with coarse flour and place on a flat baking tray lined with baking paper. Remove the baked crust. Brush the washed and dried rim with fat, dust with icing sugar, and either line the perimeters of the tin with a decorated slice of the cake, or fill with cream, decorate with fruit, top with gelatine and leave to set. The rim is easily removed by sliding out the top.
