When whisking, you can open the center part only, freeing up space for the whisks, but the lid remains around the edges, protecting your kitchen from unwanted splashing of whipped food. By covering the centre part of the lid, you can prevent the whipped goodies from drying out.
The 2.5 litre bowl is fitted with a spout and handle, making it very comfortable to work with. In addition, you can measure liquid ingredients better thanks to the 200 ml measuring cup, which scales up to 2.4 l. It is made of high quality BPA-free PP plastic, temperature resistant from -25 °C to +95 °C, dishwasher safe, also microwaveable without lid.
