A figure of a groom and bride is usually placed on the top tier of the cake, however, if you make atypical cakes with unusually arranged tiers, you can place the figure anywhere else. Use florist wires wrapped with covering or modelling paste to make a pergola for the bride and groom and decorate it with hand-modelled flowers and garlands from covering or modelling pastes. You can also make a decorative mat with the help of cutters in the shape of decorative ovals and then decorate it for example with frills or pearls.
